Petition: Exempt ALL early years settings in England from business rates There has been continued campaigning from the EY sector to access 100% business rate relief for settings in England, in line with those in Scotland and Wales. A recent petition calling for business rates relief gained over 10,000 signatures, but relief was only offered during the Covid-19 crisis.

This Saturday, the 8th April, one of our nursery parents will doing a tandem Skydive to raise funds for the mental health charity, Mind. They are a fabulous charity that ensure anyone with a mental health issue has someone to talk to!

Any donation you are able to make would be much appreciated to reach the £500 fundraising target!!

NDNA respond to Government's ratio consultation findings - NDNA The Government's ratios consultation revealed that (70%) would be unlikely to change their provision if ratio requirements were relaxed.

Our Chief Executive, Purnima Tanuku OBE, was on BBC News this morning talking about talking about the Chancellor's plans to offer 30 hours funded childcare to 1 and 2 year old's.

“The Government will be the sole purchaser of childcare in this country. It’s price fixing by the Government, they can’t expect nurseries to operate at a loss & deliver Government Policy. They have been subsidising this and can’t afford to do that anymore.

“What this needs is very careful planning to recruit more workforce and also to make sure nursery providers have got capacity for this.”
