Another half marathon, cold, windy and hilly. 7:00 min/mile pace, happy with that for a young 62 year old 😂

Still can’t believe I’m in the over 60 age group, even after 2 years. But I managed to win my age group today in 1hr 13 mins 38sec. Great race and some hills in the woods.

In gale force winds, pleased to get round without being blown off😉. 3rd in age group, so not too bad.

A bit cold today, but good 10k. 6:47 min miles average, with 145 BPM HR average. I love da stats😂41mins, 52 sec.

Desford 5 mile running race today. 34:20 on a cold, wet day and very lumpy course. First race of the Leicester Road Running League.

Maltas version of park run this morning. Ran off with the leader, so I didn’t go wrong. Then a kid fell off his bike so we stopped to help him. Then I pulled away on the second lap (as I knew where I was going ). Only to be overtaken in a sprint finish by 2 younger people. Time on my watch was 22:05, but official time was 22:36 due to my good deed. Great morning with great bunch of people.

Today’s run in lovely sunshine 🌞. St Paul’s Bay and Bugibba. Now for “happy hour” in the hotel bar, before heading out to a restaurant.

Great adult only hotel and Spa in Malta.
