We are open !

Know anyone that has a passion for music and video production, events or teaching?

Know someone who will be leaving Uni / College without the most essential thing: work experience?

Know anyone that is feeling lost and needs a help in the right direction?

We are now opening up again for more volunteers as the student year begins!

At The Shift Studios all are welcome and we expect hard work and self motivation to learn and progress. We don't require any previous experience as we believe anyone can learn what they put their mind into.

We are all friendly and fabulous and we do not tolerate any back biting within our family.

It's a shame to see music students that went to university now have no work experience that left The Shift Studios or haven't bothered to volunteer or seek experience in the industry.

Most are now working in unrelated jobs and are finding it impossible to find work in their preferred roles.

Experience can overlook qualification too. You certainly learn more about sound engineering when hands on. We continue to stay on message so others don't make the same mistake!

We'd love to be able to give 3 hours recording per month or even per week to the terminally ill and the young and disadvantaged The Shift Studios.

WOW WHAT A GIFT!

Massive thank you to Stephen Reid of Doc Red Eye and UCLan Burnley for giving something back to the community.
