🔴🔵This morning, we enjoyed a lively assembly with Mad Science, who wowed everyone with a fantastic range of experiments 🧪✨ We were also excited to hear about the planned Mad Science Club, which begins on 5th November. Letters and information about the club will be sent home with children, and if your child would like to take part, please return the completed form to school to register their place 🔬

🔴🔵We’re pleased to let families know that our school now has an Anaphylaxis Kitt from Kitt Medical. It includes adrenaline auto‑injectors and clear emergency instructions, plus staff training. Severe allergic reactions can happen suddenly, even without a known allergy, so this gives us extra protection for pupils, staff and visitors. If your child has an allergy, please keep sending their own auto‑injectors and let us know about any changes. 💙 Safety first, always.

🔴🔵It was fantastic to welcome everybody back today and see our school together again. We were also delighted to welcome back Leah and Nancy, our therapy assistant and school therapy dog, for their first visit of the year. 🐾

They spent time with groups and enjoyed a walk around school, bringing plenty of smiles and helping to set a calm, positive tone for the year ahead. Baldwin Therapy

🔴🔵What an incredible day our Year 6 students had on their residential visit to Whitehough Outdoor Centre! 🌲 The children truly shone as they overcame their fears, demonstrating our school values of respect and resilience. The staff at the activity centre praised their exemplary behaviour and positive attitudes. A huge well done to our fantastic Year 6s!

🔴🔵This afternoon, our Year 5 Guardian Angels completed their final duties with Year 2 from Rosegrove Infant School! The children engaged in orienteering activities to get to know each other better and shared their reading in our Forest School Area. 🌳📚 A huge thank you to everyone at Rosegrove Infants for your support this year in us helping Year 2 prepare for their transition in September.

🔴🔵What a fantastic way to start our final week! We were thrilled to welcome Leah from Pendleside Hospice, who presented us with our cheque following our successful Colour Run. 🌈 We are proud to announce that we raised an incredible £3,090.16 for such an amazing cause! A huge thank you to our entire school community for your unwavering support and generosity. Together, we are making a difference! 💖
