What a fabulous few days we have had celebrating our Colour Run! The children had an absolutely fantastic time – and so did the staff! It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying the fun and the vibrant atmosphere.
A huge thank you to all the children who returned their sponsorship forms. Thanks to your amazing efforts, we raised an incredible £2245.78 – what a fantastic achievement!
Take a look at some of the photos to see all the fun in action! 📸
Finally, a big thank you to Mrs Dallison and the PTFA for helping to organise such a brilliant and memorable event.

We had a fantastic time at a recent netball event! Our children worked incredibly hard to learn new rules and showed great enthusiasm while representing our school and competing against others.
As always, we are extremely proud of every single one of them for the way they represented our school.

We had a fantastic time attending the Primary Schools Rugby Festival, proudly representing Japan! Our children looked brilliant in their pink T-shirts and matching face paint and, more importantly, played incredibly well throughout the morning.
They showed great determination, quickly learning new rules and competing confidently against older pupils. The team worked brilliantly together.
A special shout-out to our amazing girls, who played every minute of every match with outstanding effort and resilience.

🏰 Beech Class Visit to Skipton Castle 🏰
Beech class had a wonderful time on their trip to Skipton Castle! We learnt lots of fascinating new information about castle defences and what life was like in medieval times.
We particularly enjoyed keeping watch for enemies through the arrow slits and firing at them with our imaginary bows and arrows 🏹. The dungeon was very dark and unpleasant, and we were definitely not impressed with the medieval toilet facilities – known as garderobes!
We also did a great job spotting the different masonry marks that had been carefully chiselled into the stone walls. Everyone showed fantastic curiosity and enthusiasm throughout the day.

🌾🐐 Ash Class Farm Visit 🐄🌾
Ash Class had the best time on their recent visit to the farm! As our very first school trip, the children behaved impeccably and had so much fun from start to finish.
We began with a safari adventure, travelling over the hills to see reindeer, geese and cows. Next, it was time to feed the animals – everyone was incredibly brave! The goats were definitely the funniest, as they tickled our hands when they ate.
In the barns we met llamas, donkeys, calves, goats, chickens, horses, ponies and even a mummy pig with her piglets – they were super cute! We also fed lambs with milk and enjoyed gently stroking chicks, guinea pigs and rabbits.
It was a very busy day and the children loved every minute. We can’t wait for our next adventure… the beach!
