A standing ovation to some of our current and former Unity College students!

On Friday evening, Miss Ford, Miss James and Mrs Gane had the pleasure of watching Les Misérables, and what a fantastic performance it was.

A huge congratulations to current Unity College students Brooke B and Leo B, along with former students Summer H, Mickey W and Summer S. They performed with incredible professionalism, commitment and talent, and did themselves and the Unity community proud.

We wish them all the very best for the rest of the show's run! ⭐

Student Leadership Team 2027!

We are delighted to introduce our new Head Students and Deputy Head Students for the Class of 2027. Congratulations to our Head Students, Mya S and Lacey R, and our Deputy Head Students, Annabelle B, Macjunior M and Rylee W.

Chosen for their leadership, commitment and dedication to the Unity College community, they will be outstanding ambassadors for our school and excellent role models for their peers throughout the coming academic year.

Awards Evening 2026

On Tuesday 14 July, we celebrated the achievements of our students at our annual Awards Evening.

Awards were presented for attainment and progress across all subject areas, recognising the hard work, resilience and dedication shown by students throughout the academic year. It was a wonderful evening celebrating academic success, personal achievement and the commitment of so many exceptional young people.

Guests were welcomed by a fantastic piano performance from Baran T, setting the perfect tone for the evening. We were also treated to a wonderful singing performance from Brooke B, who opened the evenings award ceremony.

Congratulations to all of our award winners. We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved, and thank you to our families, staff and guests for making the evening such a special celebration.

Out of College Achievement!

A huge congratulations to Mione, who recently took part in the final race of the English Fell Running Championships. The final race took place at Whinlatter in the Lake District, where competitors tackled a demanding out-and-back course featuring an incredible 350m of elevation. Mione produced another fantastic performance, finishing 4th on the day.

After taking on some incredibly challenging courses against a very strong field of runners from across England, Mione has finished an outstanding 6th overall in the English Fell Running Championships. An incredible achievement and one that reflects Mione's determination, resilience and hard work. We are all incredibly proud of you, well done!

Out of College Achievement!

A huge congratulations to Alfie S, who has been awarded the Spirit of Rugby Award for Burnley RUFC's Under 12s team for the 2025/26 season.

Having played for the club since the age of six, this award recognises the commitment, sportsmanship and dedication they have shown over many years. A fantastic achievement and one to be incredibly proud of.
