A little look at online tutoring 💻 We meet on Zoom, share resources on screen and work through activities together, with plenty of time for questions and explaining things in a way that makes sense to your child.

I get to know how they learn, where they need extra support and when they’re ready for more of a challenge. Parents receive feedback after each lesson too.

I love being able to support children beyond my local area, with the same individual attention, all from the comfort of their own home 😊

A look at what we’ve been working on in our one-to-one tutoring sessions 📚

Using base 10 to understand division, practising reading fluency and developing character descriptions with carefully chosen vocabulary.✍🏼

Each session is planned around the child, with time to explain, practise and build on what they already know. 🧠

Hi, I’m Aysha – the face behind Miss A Tutoring ✏️

A few little facts about me…

• 🧑‍🧒‍🧒 I’m a mum to two boys, who are my absolute world 💙💙
• 🎓 I have a PGCE from Leeds Beckett University (2017).
• 👩‍🏫 I’ve taught Year 2 to Year 6 in school.
• 🍎 I’ve tutored children from Reception right through to Year 8.
• ✏️ I’ve also been a SATs marker, which really helps when supporting children with exam-style questions.
• ♥️ I love helping children build confidence and truly understand their learning, with calm support tailored to their pace.
• ☕ I love coffee — you’ll hardly ever catch me teaching without one in hand.

A huge congratulations to all my brilliant Year 6 tutees, my wonderful Year 6 class at school, and of course my amazing boy Zayn — who absolutely smashed his SATs today! 🥳📚✏️
So proud of each and every one of you — your hard work, resilience and determination truly paid off. You are all very clever (just like the octopus says 🐙🎓)! 💛
