Falcon's had such an enriching afternoon today. From within our very own community, Ismail came to share about his faith and, in particular, his Pilgrimages to Mecca. It was a privilege to hear first-hand about Ismail's faith and experiences. The Falcons were all asking respectful yet insightful questions, and we all learned a lot today - especially how edifying it can be to learn and understand about someone else's faith and culture. Thank you Ismail, for your kindness in offering us your time.

Today, Falcons were learning about Darwin’s exploration on the Galápagos Islands and finding out how finches adapted their beaks over time to enable them to eat the different types of food. They all became finches and had a go at collecting different types of “seeds”. They then had the opportunity to adapt their beaks to suit there food type and try again to see if they could collect more food.

In Falcon today we started a new unit on Fossilisation. We used different types of chocolate to explore how sediment layers build up and organism are buried. We then looked at the process of how fossils are formed. We finished the lesson by enjoying eating our models!! 🤤😋

Robin class finished off by exploring and playing games in the woods. All the children have been truly amazing, conquered fears and been a pleasure to take away. Thank you Ufton Court for our fantastic experience.
