DOSBARTH IRFON TYMOR YR HYDREF 2026 AUTUMN TERM
Mae’r topic y tymor hwn i gyd i wneud gyda bwyd. Heddiw cawsom cyflwyniad WAW o lyfr newydd Julia Donaldson ‘Mam – gu Gryffalo’. Mae wedi ein hysbridoli i drafod mathau gwahanol o fwyd, beth mae Mam – gu ni yn hoffi ei fwyta a choginio. Mae’r plant yn gyffroes i cael coginio cawl llygod yr wythnos nesaf! Gwylion ni’r darlunydd -Axel Scheffler yn tynnu llun ac roedd y plant yn awyddus i gael tro hefyd yn eu dull eu hunain yn y Cwtsh Creadigol.
The topic this term is all about food. Today we had a wonderful hook into the topic by watching Julia Donaldson introducing her new book ‘Mam – gu Gryffalo’. It’s inspired the children to talk about different foods, what their Grandma eats / used to eat as a child and to cook. They are excited to cook mice soup next week! We also watched Axel Scheffler drawing the characters from the book. The children we’re then keen to draw Grandma Gruffalo in their own style in the Cwtsh Creadigol.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated items to our School Uniform Swap. We have been overwhelmed by your generosity and support.

We’ve had a sort through all of the donations and labelled everything, so it’s easy to find where items need to be placed and collected.

Thank you for helping to support our school community while giving good quality uniform a second life. ♻️

Here is our highly commended decorated wheelbarrow. It is in the horticulture section at the show. If you are attending the show, head over to see it. Well done to everyone in the team for their hard work and enjoyment when planning and planting the wheelbarrow. Thank you to Mrs Anne Williams and Mrs Westlake for their advice and support.
