We are delighted to share the incredible success of one of our Year 10 learners, Sophia Lewis, who has recently represented her club and community with distinction at the Open Dutch TTF Championships in Holland.
Competing against talented athletes from across Europe and beyond, Sophia delivered an exceptional performance, demonstrating not only skill and discipline but also remarkable determination and composure under pressure. Her hard work and dedication were rewarded with an outstanding medal haul, including:

🥇 Gold Medal – Weapons
As if this remarkable achievement were not enough, Sophia was also crowned the Overall Female Grand Champion, awarded to the highest-medal ranked female competitor of the entire event — a truly prestigious honour that reflects her all-round excellence.
Sophia’s success is a testament to the countless hours of training, resilience, and passion she brings to her sport. She continues to go from strength to strength, setting an inspiring example for her peers. Her achievements not only bring pride to herself but also to her school, her club, and the wider community, all of whom are thrilled to see her talents recognised on an international stage.
