Learning outdoors - Forest School 😍

Children at Bredenbury love being outdoors!

Nursery have Forest school every week while the rest of the school have an afternoon session every other week. Come rain or shine, the children are outside having fun. Den building, exploring nature, creating habitat areas, bug hotels, bird feeders, willow hearts - the list is endless!

We are very lucky to be located in a beautiful area with a huge field, a coppice where our Forest school area is and views over the surrounding farm lands. We also have a huge pond that we are planning to restore to its previous glory during the Easter break.

Toast Tuesday - Children love helping!😀

Every Tuesday the children can buy toast and all money raised goes towards 'SEED'. The school sponsoring a child in Africa to be educated.

Watch out for 'Red Nose Day' where Toast Tuesday will move to Friday and an extra treat of strawberry jam will be available.

We are looking forward to welcoming the children back on Tuesday 6th after a wonderful Christmas break.

Spread the word.... We have places available in most year groups and also a few places within the newly opened school nursery for 2, 3 and 4 year olds which has now been successfully running for a term.

Bookings for nursery places starting in September 2026 can also be provisionally made.

We will be having a range of stay and play, school tours and after school events this term but please contact us anytime to make an enquiry or book a visit.

A few things from before Christmas:

Congratulations to all our Christmas raffle winners, in particular, Mrs Carol and Mr Peter Mercier - Wilson who won the main prize. They sent a huge thank you to Hamish in class 1 for selling them the winning ticket. The raffle raised a huge £1004 for the PTFA who do a great job supporting the school and funding trips and resources for the children.

Here is Peter with his daughter collecting their prize and the return visit from Peter and Carol to thank Hamish and the school and to present some gifts.

Snack-tember...
