Very proud of our 13 Art GCSE candidates, Endeavour group have been working hard this week to do their five day practical! (We can't share their work yet so you get treated to this beautiful horse created by M in Street Art class) 😍

Our learners enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Dial-a-ride depo, learning all about accessible transport and how it supports our community. They took part in a bus safety talk and at the end were given a lovely goody . you to our English teacher Alex for organising this trip for out post 16 work experience 🚌😁

🤩 It’s nearly time for us to return to TLC! We have staff INSET days on Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd September, but we look forward to seeing all of our learners back at normal time on Wednesday 3rd in full uniform 😃 Bring on the new school year - TLC style 🤩

TLC is an independent day special school for children and young people with SEMH, ASD and associated learning and communication difficulties. It is part of Melrose Education limited.

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Behaviour Lead who has experience of working with children & young people with SEND and who may present with behaviours that challenge. We apply emotional and trauma-informed practices and behaviour support, to enable our learners to be better prepared for learning and develop self-regulation skills. We have a strong culture where safeguarding and pastoral care are prioritised.

Previous experience of SEND would be an advantage.

You will be working with learners who are enthusiastic and keen to learn and a dedicated and supportive staff team. This is a very unique school, and we would strongly encourage applicants to visit.

Lovely week at TLC so far... our Exams Officer Sara ran invigilator training for our staff and we made mini snowmen from the hailstones 🤩

Our amazing partners Young Lewisham Project presented our learners with their certificates today, after working hard last year and this term, a significant number of them achieved OCN accreditations in Bicycle mechanics, road safety and more!

Kicking off our INSET day with Twinkl Phonics training for all staff. Teaching our learners to be confident readers is so essential to improving their life opportunities 🤩 improving
