🏆 Respect Award Winners – Brockenhurst School 🏆

A huge congratulations to our school, winners of the PSP Respect Award at this year’s Priestlands School sporting events! 👏

This new award, generously sponsored by the Lymington Rotary Club through their SportEx programme, celebrates one of the four core PSP values: Respect, Determination, Teamwork, and Creativity.
🌟 RESPECT 🌟
The Respect Award goes to Brockenhurst School in recognition of the outstanding respect, sportsmanship, and positive attitude shown by all the pupils who represented the school throughout the sporting events.
Brockenhurst pupils consistently demonstrated what it means to compete with respect and integrity. They showed excellent sportsmanship at every event, treating competitors, officials, and fellow participants with kindness, fairness, and encouragement. Their willingness to celebrate not only their own achievements but also the successes of others created a positive and supportive atmosphere for everyone involved.
Throughout the competition, pupils represented their school with pride, cheering on teammates and congratulating other schools on their accomplishments. Their respectful behaviour, positive interactions, and genuine appreciation for the efforts of others stood out across all events.
This award recognises the values that Brockenhurst School displayed throughout the competition: respect, inclusivity, encouragement, and sportsmanship. Their ability to celebrate everyone’s success while competing with enthusiasm and integrity makes Brockenhurst School a truly deserving winner of the Respect Award.

🚨🕵️‍♂️ Case closed… the wait is almost over! 👠✨
Our KS2 production of Sherlock and Cinders arrives Wednesday and Thursday night, and we can confidently report that you’re in for a treat! Expect mystery, mischief, laugh-out-loud moments and so many catchy songs that you may find yourself singing them at breakfast. 🎶😂 There will be brilliant detectives, a fairytale twist… and, despite our best efforts, one or two Ugly Sisters have managed to sneak into the cast! 🤭👭 Grab your tissues (for the laughter!), give our amazing performers the biggest cheers, and get ready for a fantastic evening. 🌿☀️ What a fantastic day for our Year 3 & Year 6 geographers! 🗺️💙 Today we headed out on a Geography Field Walk where our Year 6 pupils sketched and labelled the river, everyone took part in a fun scavenger hunt, and we explored the amazing wildlife and living things around the water. 🐦🌼🌊
We enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch together before walking back to school in the sunshine. 🌞🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

🏆 Maths Champions! 🏆 A huge congratulations to our fantastic Year 5 maths team who were crowned winners of the Priestlands Maths Challenge 2026! 🎉
The Priestlands Maths Challenge is an annual inter-school competition that brings together talented young mathematicians from local primary schools. Working in teams, pupils tackle a series of practical, logical, abstract and quick-fire mathematical challenges that test their problem-solving, teamwork and resilience. Our four incredible mathematicians demonstrated outstanding mathematical thinking, collaboration and determination throughout the competition, earning the winning title against strong local competition. We are so proud of this amazing achievement—what fantastic ambassadors for Brockenhurst CE Primary School! 🌟 👏 Well done to all four of our Year 5 champions!
