With the ever-evolving world of social media have we lost the art of telling a story to a group of people? Can we be in the moment and share moments? Can we connect through sharing stories and commune together through laughter, empathy and inspiration? We believe that o
rdinary people have extraordinary stories and that they should be heard. Story Criteria
• They must be real stories
• No more than 5 minutes long
• Spoken, not read (we don’t want a wall of paper between you and your audience!)
• They can be funny, sad or educational, but they have to be engaging! The Process
Stage One – The Paper Pitch
Complete a submission form provided by Story Jams admin. Stage Two – The Podcast Pitch
If successful send a podcast of you telling your story. Stage Three – Getting to Know You
Online interview (via Skype or FaceTime) discussing your story content, performance and, if given the green light, what to expect on the night. Stage Four – The Real Thing
