We are performers! Shrek 2026 was an amazing success. Well done to all of Key Stage Two for bringing our West End show to life! We can't wait for next year's show!

Duckling class enjoyed their 'teddy bear sports day' last week. The children enjoyed making medals, decorating biscuits and making a biscuit box for their teddy. We took part in lots of races including hurdles, running and bat and ball.

Thank you to Mrs Collins for organising our pre-loved uniform sale today and for all the kind donations from families. There is so much good quality uniform available here - all clean and folded - many of this is brand new with tags! Some branded, some plain. Why pay more at the end of the summer for the new school year? Come, take what you want and donate as little or as much as you like. Also LOADS of lost property out to be claimed. This will be on the playground until Wednesday.

Thank you to the army of volunteers who helped to make this year's final fling such a massive success. Beautiful sunshine into the evening with so much fun and laughter for children and adults. An amazing (almost) end to term for all.

We are looking forward to celebrating with all of our community at the Final Fling this Friday. Lots of great prizes to be won!

You’ve got to be in it to win it! Raffle tickets came home in school bags last week. Please return completed ticket stubs with cash in an envelope to the box in the school office. Good luck!

Federation Day! The sun was shining on a fantastic day. A huge thank you to the parents from both schools who brought in their tractors and spoke to the children in assembly about sustainable farming and the important role agriculture plays in our local area. We also loved meeting Lily the pony, who was a real highlight of the day.

It was fantastic to see children from both schools making new friends and enjoying so many fun activities together.

We loved seeing so many pupils proudly wearing the kits and uniforms of the clubs and groups they are part of in our community. The warm weather also made it the perfect day for a very wet team-building challenge!

Last week, we welcomed football teams from Chew Stoke primary school for a girls and boys football friendly tournament. Our teams were amazing, winning all of their games and really showing how they have been sharpening their skills over the last year. We have loved competing with Chew Stoke in both netball and football over the last few weeks and look forward to many more matches and events in the future!

We had an amazing time together in the hall this morning watching England's victory against Mexcio. We may have all been tucked up in bed for the live match but it was a fantastic atmosphere in school for the highlights today. Come on, England!
