We are delighted to welcome Professor David Olusoga (Hon LLD 2025) to the University’s Clifton Campus on Saturday 10 October.

He will join Dr Marie-Annick Gournet, Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (Reparative and Civic Futures) for a frank and insightful conversation around the theme of 'Repairing histories, reshaping futures'. Find out more ⬇

Renowned historian, author, presenter and filmmaker Professor David Olusoga is coming to the University of Bristol for a rare in-person conversation next month.

Part of our 150th anniversary celebrations, David will join Dr Marie-Annick Gournet, Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (Reparative and Civic Futures), to explore Bristol's social and cultural history, reparatory justice, and discuss how truth-telling, learning, repair and renewal can help create meaningful, long-term change.

The event will take place on Saturday 10 October in the Wills Memorial Building, 11 am to 12 pm.

It’s one of over 80 free events and activities taking place across our Clifton and Temple Quarter campuses.

The good news keeps coming this week! 🎉 We're thrilled to have been ranked 12th in the UK, according to the Guardian University Guide 2027, released today.
