Who knows what lives down in the woods or in other wild places when we’re not around! Elf houses can be made any time, but there’s no better time or place than an autumn woodland – when there’s lots of bare roots, fallen leaves and other material to make a cosy home for elves, gnomes, or goblins!

🕸️🌰 Make a conker spider web!

A lovely autumn nature craft for all those conkers you’ve been collecting. 🌰🍂

Using a conker, bamboo skewers or toothpicks and some string, children can weave their own beautiful spider webs — perfect for hanging up as natural Halloween decorations. 🕷️

You’ll need something sharp to make the holes in the conker, so this part is best done by a grown-up.
