Exciting times here at Archfield as this week our garden renovation begins! This is a big project that has been in the pipeline for a long time and we can’t wait to see our plans come to life.

We know that lots of our nursery community that have gone on to school still walk past in the morning so we thought you might like to know what’s going on.

There may be some noise disruption to our neighbours over the next few weeks, we’ll be doing our best to keep everything as considerate as possible however please do get in touch if you’re an Archfield neighbour who has any concerns, questions or problems by giving us a call.

FUNDRAISING WEEK - Archfield go Around the World 🌍

We’ve kicked off our fundraising week with a staff bake off - we had an amazing variety of bakes from all over the world. Tash won the bake off with her fantastic Turkish Börek, congratulations Tash!

The children have been noticing the new flags in the front garden, we’ve been dancing to different music from around the world and we’ve been learning about where our families are from.

Today we raise a huge cheer for our incredible Director Rebecca who is celebrating 20 amazing years at Archfield and Woodland House Nursery 🥳🥳

Rebecca pours her heart, passion and love in to everything she does. Her leadership, kindness and unwavering commitment has helped shape our nurseries into the warm, nurturing places they are today.

Here’s to two decades of love, laughter and learning - and to all the lives you’ve touched along the way! 🌷

Our wonderful sister nursery Woodland are hosting a study day for educators and teachers wanting to find out more about Brilliant Beach Schools.

They will be focusing on physical activity and self regulation, inspired by the EEF’s Early Years Evidence Store.

⭐️ 20 Years Long Service Award ⭐️

Last week 5 members of the team celebrated over 20 years of service in the early years sector. The Bristol Early Years team invited practitioners to celebrate their long service award at an event at City Hall. The 5 team members have 152 years experience between them alone!

What an amazing achievement! We are so grateful for our wonderfully diverse team ❤️
