Congratulations to all of the wonderful children who had a certificate today. Here are some children with their brand new book which they got to choose after receiving a certificate from Mrs Robson for showing our school values.

Year 3 Scooter Training!

On Friday, all of Year 3 had a fantastic scooter training session. As part of this, they had a lesson which covered the basic principles and fundamental safety procedures to ensure safe scooting. They then had a practical session where they put everything that they had covered in the morning into action on their scooters! Here are some pictures of the children working on their practical scooting skills.

Easter Service! WOW! What a fantastic morning Year 3 and 4 had enjoying the wonderful Easter celebration put on by 4SJ. We really enjoyed listening to the story as well as joining in with the songs we have work on during our singing assembly time.

On Friday, we celebrated World Book day with a wild animal theme! We came to school, dressed as a whole menagerie of animals or dressed in animal themed colours, to complete a variety of reading themed tasks. We were then lucky enough to have the author and wildfile documentary maker-Sam Hume to come and give us a talk. He told us about his very interesting career and the book that he has written all about dangerous animals, with some children getting a signed book after the talk. It was great to have a whole day dedicated to the love of reading and lots of fun was had!

Today we celebrated the last 13 years with our incredible head teacher in a very heartfelt (and emotional!) assembly. We shared special memories, highlights, songs and most importantly reflected on the wonderful impact she has had on our school. Ms Wilson, you have been an inspiration to adults and children alike and you will be so missed. We look forward to encompassing all that you have done for us and carrying your legacy forwards as we enter our next chapter. Thank you for everything ❤️

Yesterday children in Lowinger brought in games from home to play to celebrate being Term 3 champions. Well done Lowinger!!
