It’s the countdown to the GROW birthday celebration. It's been 5 magical years since our independent canal side creative space opened. To mark the occasion, in addition to a weekend of music, art and community events (5&6 July), we're showcasing some of the products we sell, and use behind the scenes, which share with us a commitment to ethical business and sustainability. At GROW our house cola is Ubuntu Cola. Ubuntu was the UK’s first Fairtrade cola, in 2007, and has been supporting Fairtrade sugar farmers and water access projects in sub Saharan Africa ever since. www.ubuntucola.com 😊

Throwing it back to fun days in the sun... Which festivals would you like to see Ubuntu Cola at next year?!

As you may know each year we support Vagamondi, our friends from Italy, with the projects they undertake in Africa.

This week we received photos of this years' projects - a well in the village of Ngolingoliwa and an Under Five Clinic in Mangunda.

A large amount of our food is grown in developing countries. The farmers are often exploited and paid very small amounts. To combat this and do your part, choose products with the Fairtrade mark!
You can also get involved in the World Fairtrade Challenge and Stand 4 Fairness by uploading a '4' picture to Insta and Facebook to spread the message✨
