So, the big day is approaching….

I had to make a reel for the Semi-finals a few weeks ago, and didn’t seem to get an airing, so I thought I’d put it up here as the Finals are getting very close.

I asked all my lovely followers for a bit of help with three words to describe me. Can’t tell you how lovely it was to hear all your lovely words.

I have no idea what to expect on the day. Just hoping they don’t ask me to do anything too physical, as my arm is not yet ready to be picking up and using tools.

Wish me luck. What ever happens, it’s going to be a find day, and I get to meet BexDex Refurbishment from Swansea and talk about how to support women learning a Trade.

Just finishing up my last Nailing It! DIY Beginners Course for a few weeks.

It was a good one.

So, I’m having to take a few weeks off physical work, because I‘ve just been diagnosed with Breast Cancer again. Fortunately it’s been caught really early - very grateful to the NHS for my annual checks.

I am one of the lucky ones. I will just need an operation, no chemo of radiotherapy, so it will just be a case of a few weeks recovery.
Obviously doing nothing for a few weeks is not going to be my strong point, but I know that it’s the best way to get back to work and normality as quickly as possible.

I can’t run courses for a few weeks, but I’m planning to be back in mid October, and courses are booking up, so if you do fancy join a DIY course, please sign up.

Frustratingly I can’t run any in person DIY Assists for the next few weeks, but I am hoping to start running some online DIY Assists, so watch this space for more info about that.

I’m still here, still enjoying hearing about all your DIY projects and problems, so please send me WhatsApps and photos, and questions. I’m going to be bored doing nothing, so please keep me entertained.
