HOT WEATHER UPDATE
- Full closure of Academy – Wednesday and Thursday -

Because of the predicted extreme heat, the Met Office has now issued a rare red weather warning. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to close the academy from 1.45pm on Tuesday 23rd June.

The academy will then remain closed on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th June, please note we also have an Inset day on Friday 26th June. Reception will also be closed during this time.

HOT WEATHER UPDATE
As temperatures are forecast to rise significantly this week, we would like to share the measures we are putting in place to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of all students.

In response to the forecast conditions, we have made a request to Oasis Community Learning (OCL) to close the academy early at 13:45 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This request has just been approved. We have sent a letter home at lunchtime today regarding this, a copy is also on our website.

Year 5 Open Morning!

Will you be looking for a Year 7 place for your child in September 2027?

If so, we invite you to attend our Open Morning. This is a great opportunity to find out what Oasis Academy Brislington has to offer. We hold Year 5 Open Mornings to support families early, before secondary transfer decisions are made.

We are offering parents and carers the opportunity to visit the academy on one of the following dates, where you will be able to see for yourself what a typical day at Oasis Academy Brislington looks like.
