As Brislington School, in all its many forms and names over the years, celebrates 70 years of educating the young people of Brislington, we're delighted to be helping launch an official Alumni Society.

To mark this special anniversary, we're inviting former students and staff to reconnect with their school community. The Alumni Society will help ex-students stay in touch with their year groups through year representatives and optional mailing lists, while also creating opportunities to support current students through careers advice, mentoring, fundraising and other school initiatives.

Whether you attended Brislington School, Brislington Comprehensive, Brislington Enterprise College, Oasis Academy Brislington, or any of its other incarnations over the past seven decades, we'd love to hear from you!

Help us celebrate the past, reconnect with old friends, and inspire the next generation.

👉 Join the Alumni Society here: https://forms.office.com/e/NhmPw5fJDr

Please feel free to share this post with fellow former students. Let's make sure 70 years of Brislington history is well represented!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Tallulah (Year 11), who appears in the newly released film Bad Apples, playing the role of Carys!

Having a role in a feature film is an amazing achievement and a testament to Tallulah’s dedication, talent and hard work. Everyone at the Academy is thrilled to see her pursuing her passion and making her mark on the big screen.

Congratulations, Tallulah, on this fantastic accomplishment. We can't wait to see what the future holds for you and look forward to celebrating many more successes from our talented students. ⭐👏

What a week we had last week! We logged an incredible 4,335 'ACE Its', taking us to almost 6,000 'ACE Its' since the start of term. Even more impressively, 1,169 students were recognised this week for showing the fantastic culture of success and positivity across the academy.

The competition between year groups is incredibly close, with all year groups contributing almost equally. Year 8 currently holds a narrow lead, just ahead of Years 9 and 7, making every 'ACE It' count!

Some other standout achievements this week:
⭐ 85% of students recognised this week earned more than one 'ACE It'.
⭐ Recognition is being celebrated right across our academy community.
⭐ Several students achieved double-digit 'ACE It' totals this week, with one student reaching an outstanding 16 'ACE Its!'

Every ACE It represents a moment of success, and an opportunity to celebrate achievement. We're incredibly proud of our students and grateful to our staff for consistently recognising and encouraging the great things happening every day.

After our first full week back in the Academy, we're taking one last look at the phenomenal GCSE results achieved by our Class of 2025. 🎉

They've now moved on to colleges, sixth forms and apprenticeships, and while we hope they're loving their post-16 adventures, we're not sure anyone enjoys them quite as much as we enjoyed having them here! ⭐

🌟 Introducing ACE IT! at OAB! 🌟

At Oasis Academy Brislington, we believe great effort, commitment and attendance deserve to be celebrated.
That's why we're excited to launch ACE IT!, our brand-new reward scheme designed to recognise students who live our values every day.
⭐ ACE IT! Lesson Recognition In every lesson, teachers will recognise up to 4 students who are demonstrating our ACE values:
🟢 Aspire - Dream Big. Be Ambitious.
🟢 Commit - Get Involved. Give Your Best.
🟢 Excel - Be Your Best. Make It Count.

Every ACE IT! recognition earns a ticket into our end-of-term prize draw, where there will be three fantastic prizes to be won!

📅 ACE IT! Attendance Every time a student achieves a full week of 100% attendance, they will receive a ticket into our end-of-term attendance prize draw.

The more tickets you earn, the more chances you have to win!
We're looking forward to recognising and rewarding the students who consistently Aspire, Commit and Excel throughout the year.
