Sensory play - why is it important?

Sensory play helps build nerve connections in the brain, supports the development of fine and gross motor skills, encourages language development and provides a natural pathway for children to explore and make sense of the world around them 🌈✨.

A fun activity to recreate at home - grab some water, petals and a container for hours of exploration 🌺.

Mini Voyagers activities - we love seeing activities once the babies have explored! They thoroughly enjoyed rescuing the dinosaurs from the gloop and stomping them to create a splash 🦕🫟.

Little Explorers activities - they have had much fun recently exploring & learning through their play 🧱🐋.

Big Adventurers activities recently - The children have enjoyed exploring different textures, making different shapes, recognising numbers & creating/learning about habitats 🪵🐚.

🔍🐣 ‘We’re going on an egg hunt’ 🐣🔍

The Big Adventurers children had fun completing their Easter egg hunt set up at the park for them. They worked together as a team to find as many eggs that were hidden for them.

Once they’d collected them all, they enjoyed a story all about it too!
