Some big news from us!!

A Shared Announcement: Welcoming Relight into Wild Dandelion CIC

Over the past year, a close relationship has been deepening between Wild Dandelion CIC and ReLight

What began seven years ago as a shared vision, rooted in the values and creative partnership of Relight’s co-founder and Creative Director Linsey and Wild Dandelion’s founder and Executive Director Rosie, this collaboration has now found a more grounded form, shaped by similar values and overlapping practices.

We are delighted to be strengthening that vision by bringing Relight into the Wild Dandelion family, commencing Relight’s next chapter as the Educational Arm of Wild Dandelion.

Relight’s Creative Clinical Supervision Training (accredited by ADMP-UK and recognised by UKCP) continues to gain momentum, as practitioners across the country recognise the need to learn, develop and practise from a creative, humanistic and spiritually-informed perspective. As part of Wild Dandelion, Relight will be able to expand this value-based approach to personal and professional development, growing their CPD offer and extending their reach while remaining unapologetic in acknowledging the soulful and embodied elements of practice, where creativity and the person-centred approach are united.

We are gaining not only a well-established and respected learning provision but also a richness of experience, clarity of vision and depth of practice that will continue to shape how we grow. In turn, Relight can be held within a wider organisational system that can support its development and sustainability.

Together, this allows us to more fully embody what we care about: a holistic approach to human development, where personal growth, professional training and community engagement are part of the same system, continuing to weave together creativity, spirituality and practice.

We can’t wait to welcome you to one of our CPD events.

Our next creative drop in takes place online on Tuesday 12th May, from 7.30pm to 9pm. Booking closes on Monday 11th May at midday so make sure you book soon. More details can be found on our website;

Join us for a gentle creative pause. A space to reconnect, reflect and recharge in the company of fellow therapists.

Together we’ll explore the landscape within, noticing what is flourishing, what has been left unattended and what in us us quietly asking for light.

Through guided imagery and simple art-making both on paper and embodied, this online drop in offers a nourishing opportunity to turn some of the care we offer others back towards ourselves.

No artistic experience needed, just paper, pens and a willingness to arrive as you are.

It was the last full teaching weekend for our students before their creative presentations and essays are due. They absolutely made the most of the gorgeousness of the weather and the location in both learning and lunch! 🌞

The natural world around us mirrors our human experience. For example; both life and nature flourish when there is harmony in relationships and surroundings; both thrive on balance and cooperation; both regrow (different, but still beautiful) after loss and devastation; the changing of the seasons gently reminds us of the cycles of life - growth, harvest, rest and renewal.

At Relight, we utilise the outdoors a lot in our training and we approach it with the same values as we do the rest of our work; openness, respect and curiosity.

We invite you to use your curiosity to discover what you notice and value about the natural world around you. Let us know in the comments.

What about you? Are you unfinished or can you see the potential just as you are? There is beauty in the unfinished, but if you think you might need some help chiselling away at the superfluous rock to let the potential in yourself unfold and appear, have a look at our CPD courses to see what might help.

Wishing you a restful and rejuvenating break.

As members of Relight celebrate Easter and Passover we take time to reflect on the women in these stories who often get sidelined but are central to both celebrations.

Miriam and Mary Magdalene, both courageous, strong-willed women who bear witness and in doing so enable the potential of Moses and Jesus to flourish.

Miriam who under the scrutiny of the Egyptians took her baby brother to the River Nile setting him free from death. Not only does this speak of her courage but her absolute love for Moses and faith in a God who will protect him.

Mary Magdalene who remained loyal to Jesus working tirelessly by his side, is mentioned more than most Apostles in the Bible; yet continues to be labelled as something other than a woman of faith and true commitment.

Miriam who witnessed Moses’s transformation from royalty, to outcast, to shepherd, into leader. Staying by his side they travelled the desert with nothing, yet Miriam's music and creativity continued to lead them to water, the source of life.

Mary Magdalene who remained loyal to Jesus in death, was first to witness the resurrection. Despite laws against women in that time she risked humiliation and disbelief by sharing the truth and not wavering from this, placing her life’s work in service of God.

At Relight (and as a female-led initiative) we honour the quiet strength, courage and truth carried by women like Miriam and Mary Magdalene.

Easter and Passover each speak of renewal and hope and liberation. They invite us to notice the shared human longing for freedom, meaning and belonging. May this season invite us to notice the common ground beneath our feet, to listen more deeply in our differences and to continue to weave stories of hope, courage, and renewal.
