We celebrated Christmas with our fabulous staff team last night.

A few were unfortunately unable to come along due to prior engagements but the majority were able to enjoy dinner and drinks as we toasted another fabulous year of LD Awareness 😃

Annie and I were surprised with a beautiful hamper from the team too!! 🙏🏻 We are so blessed to have such a great team with us who make it all worth while.

🎅🏼🧑🏻‍🎄This week we kicked off our Christmas celebrations with a meal for some of the amazing people we work with.

It was a lovely afternoon and a great way to bring lots of our guys together to keep their friendships strong 😀 Merry Christmas everyone 🎅🏼🎄

Our support work isn’t all about engaging in the local community. We also support several people to live independently and that involves ensuring there’s food in the fridge or freezer.

This week, Mark and CSW Helen did a batch cook of sausage & mash with veg to keep him going for a few days. 😀😋

Matthew and CSW Dan were sizing up the seats on Concord last week……looks a squeeze 😳

Jake was in his element at Haynes Motor museum last week 😍

Lucy helped with the Alpaca health check this week in her voluntary job. Looks 🥶

Steve has been volunteering at Slimbridge for over 15 years! We promote & support the people we work with in various forms of voluntary work, and when their regular CSW is off sunning themselves on holiday, the boss has to step in!! 😬😉

Jake and CSW Rachel enjoyed an evening at the Downend Round Table Fireworks night last week. It was a little wet but that didn’t dampen their spirits ☔️🎆
