With data analysis underway and no exciting results to share with you yet, I'd like to bring your attention to Lucy, my (Evelyn Maniaki) own cat and daily inspiration. Lucy's voice had changed for a couple of months and wasn't improving on medication. Last week, I took a blood sample and gave Lucy a short general anaesthetic to have a look inside her throat. I found a little mass and sampled it - it is cancer. I am giving Lucy as much fuss as humanly possible and speaking with other vets about the best option for her. I will keep you updated of her journey because I'm hoping it will remind you to keep your babies close and cherish every day you have with them. Also, if anything doesn't look "right", take them to the vet (https://icatcare.org/advice/taking-your-cat-to-the-vet/). We'll try our best so you can have them by your side a little longer.
