Singing Teacher – Maternity Cover (Freelance) 🎤
Looking for a singing teacher to cover maternity leave at my studio at the Ridgewood Centre, Yate. Teaching students of various ages and abilities.
Must have:
• Understanding of vocal health and coaching techniques
• Basic piano skills for warm-ups
• A supportive, wellbeing-aware teaching approach
Also happy to hear from teachers who offer piano, guitar, music theory or other musical skills.
Part-time or full-time considered.

Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding while we took a significant amount of time off over the past few months due to a close family bereavement.
Vocal coaching, singing therapy and vocal first aid sessions have now resumed, and we are actively taking bookings. If you have contacted us over the past couple of months, we will do our best to work through the backlog of emails and messages in the coming days - if you are able to message us again, please do so as we are now in a position to respond to new enquiries swiftly.
Whilst Stage School sessions have been unaffected during this time, we will respond to all new enquiries of this nature in the coming days also.
As for productions... keep your eyes peeled and watch this space! ;)

Guess who's back, and even more miscast!... "Backwards Broadway 2" retains the best of the original cast (the ones we couldn’t get rid of) with more Broadway hits, less sense, and a whole lot of questionable creative decisions.

We’ve had some incredible feedback, nobody in the audience seemed too disturbed at the content, and hopefully your hard earned pennies will go a long way to making our future projects happen… It’s been a while, pre-covid, but it’s nice to finally be back up on that stage together as Not Another Theatre Company.
Have you seen the last of “Backwards Broadway”? Probably not… Someone even suggested “Back to Backwards Broadway” as a title for a sequel - which we rather like. Keep your eyes peeled, there’s plenty more showtunes to maul!

Another Bath-based theatre company?
Formed with the intention of performing smaller scale musical theatre, Not Another Theatre Company’s tongue-in-cheek name highlights Bath’s already bursting non-professional theatre scene, and deliberately so. There is always a gap for less mainstream musical theatre to be performed, productions which may not suit the long-established local groups due to large cast numbers, expected show genre or even too large a performance venue.
We started Not Another Theatre Company to give actors an opportunity to tackle something a little bit different, writing outside of their comfort zone, or perhaps perform a long-standing personal favourite you wouldn’t usually expect to see staged in our neck of the woods.
We’re not here to produce X amount of shows a year, nor to be limited by a regular performance venue or an expected genre, but just so that every now and again we can stage a production we rather like the look of.
