🕯WALDORF BIRTHDAYS🕯 Someone's birthday has come so soon, Someone who is in this room, Our dear friend is two years old, Shining with his heart of gold. Today we had a birthday at Parent and Child group. We gently celebrated this special day by drawing cards, we shared a special treat and the birthday boy blew out the candles on the birthday celebration ring. He had a rainbow crown to wear and a special little handmade gift, wrapped up in a rainbow silk. 🍎 WET FELTING 🍏 Today in Parent and Child group, we made little wet felted apples, enjoying forming our apples with the warm soapy water. The grown ups then carefully needle felted a stem and leaf on. 🍂 MAKING CONKER DRAGONS 🐉 Over the past couple of weeks, our little ones have been creating their own magical Conker Dragons! First, we gathered shiny conkers and hand-drilled holes carefully into each one. Then, the children sorted them into size order—big to small—before threading them onto string to form the dragon’s body. For the final touch, we used colourful wool to create firey breath, bringing these wonderful creatures to life! This activity is not only fun, but it also helps develop fine motor skills, creativity, and patience. The children were so proud of their creations!
