🌼 What a fantastic afternoon at our Spring Art Gallery! 🎨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for the St Anne’s Infants Spring Art Competition exhibition. With over 60 entries, the standard was incredibly high — every child brought such imagination, colour and creativity to their work.

Our guest judge, local artist Wendy Calder, had the very tough job of choosing between so many brilliant pieces.

It was wonderful to see families, staff and our community come together to celebrate the children’s hard work. Thank you for your enthusiasm, support and generosity — events like this truly show what a special school community we have. 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on 27th March for the Friends of St Anne’s Curry Fundraiser Night with the wonderful Pukka Peacock team. The atmosphere was buzzing, the candles were glowing, and the food was absolutely amazing! A delicious three‑course dinner was shared with our school families and the local community, making the evening feel truly special 😍

We had so much fun with our games and raffle too, and we are thrilled to share that we raised an amazing £476 on the night!

Even better—Hargreaves Lansdown will be match‑funding the total, doubling the impact for our school community and making the amount raised an incredible ✨️£952✨️ overall!

🌼St Anne’s Infants Spring Art Competition! 🎨

A celebration of creativity, colour and the joy of spring

We’re delighted to invite all children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 to take part in our Spring Art Competition. This year, we’re embracing the season with a special theme: SPRING. From blooming flowers to baby animals, sunshine, rain showers or anything that makes spring feel magical — we can’t wait to see how the children interpret it.

🌟 How to Take Part
- A £2 suggested donation can be made via MCAS.
- Children can draw it, paint it, build it or snap it — any medium is welcome.
- Entries should reflect the theme of spring in any creative way they choose.

📅 Key Dates
- Artwork Deadline:
Please submit entries to your child’s teacher after the Easter holidays, no later than Thursday 23rd April.

- Art Exhibition:
All artwork will be proudly displayed at St Anne’s Church on
Friday 24th April, 3:20–4:00pm.
Families are warmly invited to come along and enjoy the children’s spring‑themed gallery.

Prizes and certificates will be awarded to our winners.

We've been busy behind the scenes organising our first parents only event

🍛Curry Social Night at St Anne's! 🍛

Join us for a brilliant evening out while supporting all the extras that make our school wonderful - Christmas presents for the children, singing assemblies, exciting school trips, new bike shelters, and stage lights!

Enjoy a delicious two-course meal from local favourite Pukka Peacock, great company, and fun with fellow parents. It's the perfect chance to relax, socialise, and have a laugh - all while raising money for our children's school.
