📚 Amazing to welcome into Collegiate today. Dr Ashley Hickson-Lovence spoke to Years 7 & 8 about ‘Wild East’, his verse novel which was nominated for the 2025 Carnegie Medal for Writing. He is also a poet, literary critic and… a football referee! Truly inspiring stuff.

👩‍🍳 Year 9 used Personal Development Week wisely today, learning how to make Vietnamese spring rolls followed by fruit crumble, as well as discovering some handy nutrition hints for life.

🫡 Yesterday, during our CCF’s Biennial Inspection, Year 9 cadets showed off the skills that they have acquired this year.

For his final project, Joe created, manufactured and programmed an innovative device to detect head impacts in sport.
It’s great to see that the hard work through his GCSE and A Level years has paid off - we are really proud of him!
