Join us for a restorative day focused on parent and carers’ well-being and connection to our children in an ableist society. It will be a chance to reconnect with yourself and your inner wisdom and be together in community, in the beautiful Wye Valley. Our focus is on valuing our children for who they are and not who they are not or who they ‘should’ be; resisting invitations to be ‘normal’, and taking some time to reflect on the journey we are on. This is a retreat that brings together psychological practice and lived experience. It will have a focus on going deeper into our own needs to develop self-compassion practices.

We are really excited about the launch of the National Autistic Society's 'Empowering Autistic Travel Research Report'.
They listened to autistic people and their families as they described their travel experiences through surveys and interviews, as well as engaging in valuable discussions with transport professionals.
They have come up with some ideas for change.
