This morning in assembly, Mrs Burki read The Koala Who Could, a story all about being brave, trying new things and coping with changes just like some of the transitions we’ll be experiencing this term. Kevin the koala reminds us that even when something feels a bit new or tricky, we can still have a go and discover wonderful things along the way.

Year 2 are very excited about their Maths Games Cafe with their parents in the Hall this afternoon.
On Wednesday 20th May, there is an Olympus Trust Exhibition of pupils’ work at Meadowbrook Primary School in their hall. Parents and Carers are invited to come and view work from Year 2 and 3 pupils across the Trust linked to our curriculum theme. We know that you will be really proud of your children – the work is of a very high quality! The exhibition opens to parents from 3:30pm, and it closes at 5:00pm.
After half‑term, we will also hold our usual in‑school exhibition to celebrate the end of our theme, where you’ll be able to see the children’s work displayed outside our classroom. So please don’t worry if you’re unable to make the Meadowbrook event.

Otters class enjoyed a visit from Val and Roger Revell yesterday, who shared what life in Bristol was like 75 years ago, including growing up with only a small black‑and‑white TV. The children listened well, asked great questions, and even learned some of Val’s childhood skipping songs.
