So for the past few weeks I have been coordinating, what seems like, Bristol's first Art Exhibition for local Muslim artists. asked me if I could curate for and organise an art exhibition which will feature at this years Bristol Muslim Conference. So I said 'sure' (😳) I can do that(?) So why not come along, get involved in the serious stuff (the actual conference) and then have a mooch around the exhibition of local Muslim artists. Recently I have been exploring patterns, patterns and how I can bring them into my work with .This piece that I am posting is based on the concept of ‘Love’ at the centre (which shares the same root word as ‘seed’ in Arabic) and the text growing and flourishing outwards. I made this in celebration of, and inspired by, the love Muslims have for our noble Prophet peace be upon him. In this month of the month in which our Prophet was born, millions of Muslims around the world will celebrate his life through gratefulness to God for having created him (peace be upon him) for Muhammad (peace be upon him) was and is a blessing for all the world. “Ya Nabi Salaam alaik” (Oh Prophet, upon You be peace)
