🎉 Big congratulations to our latest group of AITT Qualified Instructors! 🎉
We're thrilled to celebrate 6 outstanding candidates who successfully passed their AITT Instructors course last week — our 5th instructor course of 2026 already!
A huge well done to:
- Novices: Rich & Bruce — both highly experienced instructors who committed to the full 10 days to secure their formal qualifications.
- Re-regs: Colin, Dan, Josh & our very own Matt.
The course was expertly delivered by Jay and Paul, and we were delighted to welcome Andy from AITT on the final day for the assessments.
These achievements strengthen our team and reinforce our commitment to delivering the highest standards of training across the industry. Massive thanks to everyone involved — trainers, candidates, and support staff.
Here's to more success stories throughout the rest of 2026! 🚀

🚀 Throwback to Our Busiest Instructor Course… And 2026 is Shaping Up to Be Even Bigger!
Back in June 2025, our training centre was absolutely buzzing. We ran our largest group yet — 6 Re-regs + 5 Novice Instructors training together.
This year, we’re on track to smash that record.
We’ve already had to split the June 2026 course due to high demand, and with a month still to go, it’s looking like a complete sell-out.
To make things even better, during the second week of our June 2026 course, we’ll also have Paul Figueras delivering a Tow Tug Instructor Course in Taunton for 4 candidates.
That means — if fully booked — we could have 16 forklift and tow tug instructors training in the same week. That’s serious momentum!
If you’ve been thinking about becoming a qualified forklift instructor, re-registering your existing qualification, or adding Tow Tug to your instructor portfolio, now is the time to secure your place.

We’re proud to share that our Bristol training centre is now equipped with both a publicly accessible defibrillator (courtesy of Great Western Ambulance) and a newly installed bleed control kit, provided by Mikey’s World Team.

A huge thank you to both organisations for the vital work they do in improving access to emergency equipment and raising awareness across communities.
We’re committed to doing our part to create safer workplaces and safer communities.

Not every training plan goes smoothly — but getting the job done is what matters.
Last week, I visited one of our customers to finally complete their Counterbalance training… after quite a journey.
Back in January, their forklift broke down mid-training. We recommended one of our trusted suppliers, who quickly arranged a rental truck to keep things moving — but the disruption meant we had to reschedule.
When we returned a few weeks later, another challenge — their roller shutters had broken, leaving the truck stuck inside the warehouse.
Fast forward a couple of months, and with the rental truck due to be collected and their new truck on the way, we made it happen.
✅ Training delivered indoors using mezzanine flooring
✅ Practical sessions completed outdoors when access allowed
✅ Lorry loading exercises carried out with vehicles on-site
✅ Bulk stacking covered to ensure full operational competence
Despite everything thrown at them, the team now has the skills and confidence to carry out all required tasks safely and effectively.
A great example of adapting to real-world challenges — and a big thank you to the customer for their patience and flexibility throughout.
(And a bonus that the weather held out for some great outdoor training shots ☀️)
