It's starting to feel like Spring again! This photo of the Cantock Steps was taken last year and we can't wait for the leaves to return 🍃

it's been incredibly busy over the past few months at the University, and with some good news and some bad news, the sunshine is definitely welcomed.

The students have been working hard and seeing medical life first hand at their hospital placements, and will soon be preparing for their May examinations 🎓

With Spring comes change and fresh beginnings!

Today our IFP students begin their placements 👩🏾‍⚕️👨🏽‍⚕️ at Royal United Hospitals Bath they will spend 1 day a week for the next 6 weeks shadowing consultants and getting a feel for the life of a doctor in the UK 🏥

This front-line experience is offered to both medical and dental students in the IFP and is an integral part of the programme education 📚

⭐As one of the only UK foundation programmes that offers work experience & we think this makes our programme pretty unique ⭐

Congratulations to our IFP students who had their medical school interview today!

This is their opportunity to showcase their skills, qualities, and ambition to become a doctor 👨🏾‍⚕️👩🏾‍⚕️

Plenty of hard work and preparation has gone into this morning's interview and the team at the University of Bristol are incredibly proud 👏👏👏

Congratulations to our IFP students for presenting their topic presentation posters to everyone at the poster fair! They had the opportunity to conduct research on a topic and present to an audience 🗣💪 This was their last major project before Christmas - we'll see them bright and refreshed after the Christmas break 🎄❄ @ Bristol University, Richmond Building

Today, our IFP students were in the audience for the Foundations of Dentistry conference, where Year 1 dentistry students present their new knowledge in the form of presentations, posters, and creative work! 🎓🗣 It was a great chance to see what the Year 1 students get up to, and for our students to get some inspiration for their own presentations

This morning our students are taking part in a wellness workshop provided by our wellbeing advisers, giving them an opportunity to sit back and breathe.

Take a moment today to be mindful, to be in the moment, and to breathe

It's that time of year 🎄we love to see how different countries celebrate so come and join the Global Lounge in the Richmond Building in learning about different traditions and nibbling some festive food! 🎁
