We’ve been back in the UK for a few days now, but I forgot to post these memories from italy 🇮🇹 missing it already so much! 🤍☀️🌊🌳🍕🍝☕️

One year ago, I was in another realm - being your portal to Earth.
My life, my body, have changed in ways I didn’t think possible. And I’m still learning every single day how to best navigate this new experience as mother.
Every single day, I’m teaching myself what it means to step into being the best mom for you. Letting go of any attachment to the person I used to be, the things I used to do.

To make service devotional. And find spirituality in the ordinary.

But YOU - you make it easier than it would have to be. Anyone who is lucky to know you knows immediately what incredible, wonderful soul you are.

You’re the sun. And the moon.
You’re pure joy. And calm bliss.
You smile and laugh. And quietly explore.
You love everyone you meet. And find comfort in us when you need.

This is a journey we’re learning to navigate one step at the time, in the present. Moment by moment. But we’re driven by unconditional love, pure joy and deep certainty.

Devotion.

One year ago you were born. And with you, a new chapter, a new season, a new version of me, and of our family.

You are deeply loved, Aurora. You are deeply protected and cared for.

Thank you for choosing us.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for being you.

Buon primo anno sulla Terra.
Buon primo compleanno, angelo mio.

Con amore,
Mamma

We are literally the portal between Heaven and Earth. ✨🤍

My first Mother’s Day as Aurora’s mum.
I won’t pretend this year has been easy. Before she arrived, I had real fears around losing my time, my independence, the space I had for myself, the long mornings of stillness.

Those fears all came true, in their way.

For a while I thought it would be temporary and I would “go back” to my routines at some point. But actually the more she grew the more I realised there was no going back. If anything, things got “worse”.

I also started to realise that self-care doesn’t have to look the way it looked before. That presence can be practised in any moment, no matter how full or chaotic or unglamorous that moment looks. Five loads of laundry. Cooking, prepping, washing up. The beautiful, relentless busyness of a life with a small child.

This is the spiritual work too. Not despite the chaos - right inside of it.

What I am (very imperfectly) learning is to stay connected rather than constantly needing to reconnect. And to meet myself where I am, not where I think I should be.

Some days I get it right, but many I don’t. I get lost in the hurrying and the noise, and then I notice, and I come back. To the breath. To the present moment. To myself.
That noticing - and the returning - is the practice now.

Being Aurora’s mum has also shown me how strong I actually am. The most powerful personal development of my life has not come from a retreat or a programme or a book. It has come from this small person who needs me to be present in a way nothing else ever has.

To every woman reading this who is quietly wondering whether there is still space for herself inside a life that demands everything - you are not failing. You are being asked to find a different relationship with yourself.

One that lives inside the ordinary moments, if you are present enough to find it there.

With love, Rita 🤍

The more I learned, the more I doubted myself. Here’s what changed that, and how everything else changed with it.

Being fully yourself isn’t acceptable-it is
your
sacred
responsibility
to yourself, and to everyone whose life you touch.

When you give yourself permission to be authentic, honest, fully-expressed, whole you give everyone around you permission to do the same.

That is your Divine assignment: to just be you.

With love,
Rita 🤍✨

The Universe has a funny way of bringing me back to myself and to what matters most on my birthday. Every year.
Whether it’s bringing me on a sudden work trip, or celebrating among friends, or with my family, it always disrupts my plans of what I thought I wanted and brings me what I actually need.

This year I was planning a lovely party with my dearest friends. An unexpected cold virus that caught both Gaetano and Aurora forced us to change our plans. But I realised it’s brought me exactly where I was meant to be.
My purpose, my dharma in this phase of my life, is THEM.
It is being the best mum and wife I can possibly be.
It is caring for them, and being the anchor of this home.
It is enjoying our family life to the fullest.
And spending this day with them, making every single moment with them a ritual, has been so special.

This past year has been the most transformational of my life so far, it has made me a wife and a mother, has changed me on a cellular level and materialised my lifetime dreams. It has also brought clarity on what my mission looks like - clarity which I had been seeking and asking for for a long time. And I know that next year is going to be super exciting and will bring us lots of renewal and of change. I’m so excited to find out what’s coming, to create our future, and to do it alongside my angel family 🤍✨

I feel like the luckiest woman in the world, already living my dream life 💫

There’s a moment many capable women know well.

You’re not unprepared.
And you’re not lacking confidence.

And yet, you don’t speak up.

What tightens in those moments isn’t your thinking -
it’s your nervous system responding to visibility.

Leadership doesn’t break down because you don’t know what to say.
It breaks down when your body doesn’t feel safe being seen, heard, or decisive.

This is why pushing yourself to be “more confident” rarely works for long.

The shift isn’t about becoming louder or more assertive.
It’s about becoming steadier.

When authority is embodied, you don’t need to manage yourself as much.
Your words land with fewer explanations.
Your presence does the work before your words do.

If this feels familiar, you’re not behind.
You may simply be ready for a different way of leading.

The waitlist for The Self-Led Woman is open.
