Join the Cambridge Branch for their annual dinner on Thursday 6 November in The Park Restaurant at the Cambridge Regional College.

Professor Nick Chrimes will be the after-dinner speaker. Professor Chrimes is a writer and lecturer on comparative English & Chinese culture, as well as the author of a highly successful book on the history of Cambridge University. It will also be Alison Wilson's (BA 1966) last dinner as the Chair of the Cambridge Branch.

The evening will begin with a drinks reception where sparkling wine or elderflower will be served, followed by a three-course dinner and tea / coffee. The bar will also be open all evening. Tickets are just £36 per person.

Don't miss your chance to reconnect, reminisce and rediscover the city. Events over the weekend range from a wine tasting at Avery's and a Bristol Harbour boat trip, to a croquet competition and the ever-popular Reunion Weekend Dinner.

16th August 2025: 100 years of the Manor Hall Association and celebrating the life of Christopher Didcote This year marks the centenary of the Manor Hall Association, which first formed in 1925 as the Elton House Association before Manor Hall was constructed.

Join the Cambridge Branch of Bristol Alumni for our annual dinner on Saturday 7 December at Fitzwilliam College.

Mulled wine and mulled apple juice will be served from 7pm in the Upper Hall before we move to the dining room at 7:30pm for a 3 course Christmas dinner, with choice of dessert.

After dinner we will be entertained by David Adamson as he recounts his 'Memories of a Bristol Bursar' from his eleven years working for the University during the 1980s and 1990s.

Tickets are £58, including wine, which is the same price as last year. Tables of up to 8 can be reserved, if you would like to book as a group. Dress code is black tie/lounge suit.

Last chance to book

The Bristol University Reunion Weekend will take place from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 July 2023. This is a great chance to get back to Bristol and enjoy the events. Join us for the Reunion drinks and dinner on the Saturday night with our new Vice Chancellor Professor Evelyn Welch.

The weekend also coincides with the Bristol Harbour Festival. Bookings can be made before 29 June through the Eventbrite page.
