We have been enjoying the warm weather this term so far.
We are looking forward to my garden being jazzed up this week with new fencing, a new mud kitchen, tuff tray and role play area for the babies and toddlers to enjoy. Watch out for a garden update soon!

I'm really excited to be doing my Outdoor Education level 2 course at the moment. There are quite a few online classes involved as well as course work, but there is also the practical sessions where we bring our mindees and get them really stuck in. This is definitely where I learn the most! Sorry to my parents about the mud 🫣 (luckily they are all very understanding and agree that a happy child is sometimes a muddy child!!)

Another fab toddler group at Kingfisher Lodge Care Home - Barchester Healthcare. I think Kelly needs a special mention, she does an amazing job at this toddler group. She manages to include both the residents and the children, brings the toys, sorts the snacks (including making sure there is food available for a toddler with feeding difficulties), and sings the songs. All at the same time as working as a carer. She is truly fantastic! My highlight this month was seeing a resident get up and spin around during one of the songs, surprising everyone, truly heartwarming. If you have a baby or toddler, please do join in, it is the first Tuesday every month xx

We really enjoyed the sun last week! We had a lovely time preparing our own pizzas ready for morning snack and washing up our bowls and plates afterwards

Our first trip using our new Slimbridge Wetlands membership was great fun. We fed the geese, experienced how smelly flamingos are and really enjoyed Welly Boot Land. Looking forward to going back when it's a bit warmer 🦩🦩
