Got these 2 really lovely reviews recently. Really chuffed!

"Carola is a great tutor, she engages with the student really well, and improvement is seen almost immediately. She tailors each session differently, dependent on strengths, weaknesses, and areas of improvement and she is overall, a great encouraging teacher who has a clear passion for chemistry and it's reflected through her teaching and the fact that we always go that one extra step to learn more." - Jag (A level Chemistry student)

"I love how she organises the lessons that suits your needs and your style of learning. The way she organises her lessons is so amazing since she uses a mixture of resources such as notes and exam style questions. She makes you feel really comfortable and will always be there to answer a question and if you need any help." - Oswah (A level Chemistry student)

Struggling to remember what you revised a week ago? Don't worry, you are not alone. Most students experience difficulties with retrieving knowledge they have revised. This opens up the question: How can you transfer knowledge from short-term into long-term memory? What are proven strategies you can start implementing today? The answer is CONSOLIDATION. The following article contains some really good advice on that matter.

!!STARTING IN JANUARY!!

NEW ALLROUND GCSE CHEMISTRY TRAINING FOR STUDENTS TAKING THEIR EXAMS IN 2021

Following the syllabus for AQA GCSE Chemistry

The training is made up of 4 modules to help GCSE students to succeed in their exams.

1. GET THE BASICS RIGHT - 12 weekly 1-hour interactive online sessions (covering the whole syllabus) in groups of max 6 students covering the whole AQA syllabus.

2. MAKE IT STICK - Included in the offer is access to topic-based online recall-quizzes which match what we cover in the zoom sessions. These quizzes don’t just touch the surface, but really check understanding and give immediate and detailed feedback. They can be accessed anytime.

3. MASTERING EXAM TECHNIQUE - Additional weekly exam question clinic running online in which I will talk through juicy past paper questions across all topics. These weekly sessions will run until the actual exam. Students can either submit a question in advance or - if no questions are submitted - I will choose some myself 🙂

4. LEARNING COMMUNITY - All students will have the opportunity to join the support group where students can ask any Chemistry-related questions as they arise and join a learning community. I will also use it to share revision tips, more exam question talk-throughs and other free resources.

This comprehensive package covers the whole syllabus and can be completed in as little as 12 weeks.

If you are interested and want to learn more about this program, simply reply with “Yes” below or pm me and I will get in touch with within 24h.
