🌿 Join Mini Foresters in Abbots Leigh! 🌿
Come and join us in the woods in Abbots Leigh, next to Leigh Court, for our wonderful outdoor Forest School sessions. 🌳🍂
Our Autumn Term is starting soon, and we’d love for you to join us!

🐝 Our final Miniforesters session of term! 🌼
We finished the term by learning all about bees and other important pollinators. We took part in lots of fun activities, including pretending to be bees and following a trail to find 6 flowers to pollinate! 🐝🌸
The children also got creative making their own bees, from cone bees to using tools to make beautiful wooden bees. They were all amazing! 🐝🪵
Thank you to everyone who has joined us this term. 💚 We’ve had such a wonderful time!

Miniforesters Fairy Week ✨🧚
We had some lovely fairy-themed sessions in the woods! The children searched for fairy doors hidden among the trees, decorated and created their own fairies, and made magical bubble wands.
We finished the session gathered around the campfire enjoying chocolate churros, definitely a very successful snack… yum! 🔥🍫✨

Saturday Mini Foresters – June Session 🐞🌿
What a fantastic session! We enjoyed bug hunting around the woods, made some beautiful clay bugs and woodland creatures, and got the tools out to create our own wooden keyrings.
Such a creative bunch—we're so proud of everything they made! 🌳🔨🐛

🐞 Miniforesters Bug & Insect Week! 🦋
We had so much fun during Bug & Insect Week in the woods!
Our Miniforesters headed off on exciting bug hunts, discovering all sorts of fascinating mini beasts along the way. They put their dexterity skills to the test by carefully rescuing bugs from a giant spider's web, before getting creative and making some amazing clay bugs to take home.
It was a wonderful week full of exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning in nature. Well done to all our little Miniforesters for their fantastic bug-hunting skills! 🌿🐛🐞

Miniforesters- Tiny Tree sessions

Halfway through our term and there's still plenty of time to join us!
Our Tiny Trees have been having lots of fun in the woods, getting creative with some beautiful Hapa Zome nature printing and enjoying all the wonderful woodland activities on offer.
From exploring nature and developing new skills to imaginative play and making new friends, every session is packed with adventure, learning, and fun in the great outdoors.
We'd love to welcome some new faces, so if you've been thinking about joining us, now is the perfect time to come along and experience the magic of the woods! 🌿🍃🌳🍂

Miniforesters weekday days sessions.

We run two groups during our weekday Miniforesters sessions:
🌱 Tiny Trees (0–3 years)
🌿 Forest Folk (3–5+ years)
This week, our Forest Folk have been busy creating beautiful dream catchers.

Using freshly cut willow to form the base, the children were able to get creative and decorate their dream catchers however they wished. As you can see, they produced some truly wonderful designs!

Traditionally, dream catchers are hung above a bed and are believed to filter dreams as you sleep. The woven web is said to catch bad dreams and negative energy, while allowing positive and guiding dreams to pass through.

Miniforesters are back in the woods for some summer fun in the woods.

Our Miniforesters have been busy in the woods, exploring and playing!

Still plenty of time to join us this term.
Sessions run on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays 10.00- 11.30

We also run sessions once a month on Saturdays too.

Miniforesters Sessions 🌿
Last term, our Miniforesters had a fantastic time exploring the woods. From swinging in hammocks and making music with instruments, to digging, playing with trucks, and cooking in the leaf kitchen. We went bug hunting, created natural crafts, drew with chalks and charcoal… and so much more! There’s truly something for every child to enjoy.
