π¦΄β οΈ Dislocation? Donβt Try to Pop It Back Yourself! β οΈπ¦΄
A dislocation happens when a joint is forced out of its normal position. They can be extremely painful and require proper medical attention.
π Signs of a Dislocation:
π£ Severe pain at the joint
π΄ Swelling or bruising
π Visible deformity β joint looks out of place
π« Limited or impossible movement
π₯΅ Numbness, tingling, or pale/cold skin around the joint
π First Aid β What To Do:
β
Keep the joint still β use a splint or sling if possible
β
Support the injured limb in the position you find it
β
Apply ice packs to reduce swelling
β
Seek medical help immediately
β Do NOT attempt to pop the joint back in place β this can cause severe damage
π‘ Quick, careful action can reduce pain and prevent further injury!

πΌβ οΈ Allergic Reaction? Know the Signs Before It Turns Serious! β οΈπΌ
Allergies can range from mild irritation to life-threatening emergencies like anaphylaxis. Spotting the signs early can save a life.
π Common Signs of an Allergic Reaction:
π€§ Sneezing, itching or watery eyes
π‘οΈ Red, raised rash or hives
π£ Swelling of lips, face, or eyes
π€’ Nausea, vomiting or stomach cramps
π¨ Signs of Severe Allergy (Anaphylaxis):
π€ Difficulty breathing or wheezing
π
Swelling of tongue or throat
π₯΄ Feeling faint, dizzy or collapsing
π Rapid heartbeat
π What To Do:
β
Mild Reaction:
Remove the trigger if possible
β
Severe Reaction (Anaphylaxis):
Use an adrenaline auto-injector (EpiPen) immediately
Call 999 / Emergency Services
Lie them down with legs raised β unless breathing is difficult (then sit upright)
β Do NOT wait to see if it gets better β it can escalate fast!
Be allergy aware β your quick action could save a life. π

π€ Sprain or Strain? Spot the Signs! π€
Sprains and strains are common injuries β whether from sports, lifting, or just a wrong step. But do you know how to recognise them?
π Signs of a Sprain (Ligament injury):
π΄ Swelling or bruising around a joint
β‘ Sudden pain after twisting or impact
π« Limited movement or instability
πͺ Signs of a Strain (Muscle or tendon injury):
π₯ Sharp pain when moving or lifting
π£ Muscle weakness or cramping
π΅ Tenderness or bruising
π§ First Aid β Remember R.I.C.E:
β
Proctect it from further injury
β
Rest the injured area
β
Ice for 15-20 mins to reduce swelling
β
Compression with a bandage
β
Elevate the limb
β οΈ If pain is severe or movement is impossible β seek medical help.

Great couple of months working in Cortina DβAmpezzo - Italy for the Winter Olympics and Paralympics - working for Fall-Line Events - and for NBC Universal!
Helping to deliver the transport operations for all crew, from Arrivals/ Departures to inter cluster transfers and getting all crew to and from venues!
Alongside the International Events work, we have continued our work back in the Bristol and South West area, delivering monthly training for David Lloyd Bristol Long Ashton and Keri Vickery , and we have delivered a number of first aid courses, working in partnership with a number of trainers to help us deliver these courses!
