As you are aware our event that is due to happen this weekend has been postponed.

We are truly gutted about this as we know how hard all our dancers and competitors have been working in the lead up to this competition 💃

Please be aware we will be rescheduling our event as soon as it is safe to do so. All our entries will be carried straight over to our new event date and tickets will be dispatched once we have confirmation of the new date. I will send out up to date TEACHER PACKS in May/June to advise you of any changes.

We hope all our dancers, families and dance teachers are keeping safe and well and we hope to see everyone on the dance floor soon!!

IMPORTANT NOTICE -

We have a lot of messages regarding our upcoming event on Sunday 26th April. Our main priority is keeping our dancers, staff and families safe during this uncertain time.

We will keep you all updated in the next week or so as to whether we can hold the event. If for any reason we do cancel/or postpone your entry money will be carried over to when we can hold the event. We are in talks with staff and the venue and will let you know as soon as possible. The health and safety of everyone is our main priority.

Finally getting round to posting about yesterday’s fantastic competition!! Well done to every single competitor that took to the floor - the standard was out of this world! You should all be so proud of yourselves ❤️👯‍♀️

A massive thank you to all our amazing teachers that support the event, and thank you to all the dance families that came to watch! It was such a long day but the atmosphere was great ALL day!

The sportsmanship around the room was lovely to see so thank you to all the schools that attended - Norcross, LW Dance Studios, KLH & PW Performers 💕

We are so excited to welcome these 3 talented professionals back to our Unity Competition, they have over 20 years of dance experience between them and all specialise in a range of dance styles including - Jazz, Latin & Ballroom, Freestyle, Street dance, tap & ballet, modern & more! 😬😍👯‍♀️

✨SYDNEY LEMA✨

Sydney has been dancing since the age of 3. She started with baby ballet and went on to try her hand at many different dance styles such as Tap, Jazz, Ballroom & Latin, Freestyle, Linedance, West Coast Swing & Jazz. She spent most of her childhood competing in competitions all over the UK, Europe and the USA.

Sydney went on to train at the Brit School for Performing Arts, after graduating Sydney spent two years travelling Europe and the World, Teaching, Judging, and Performing at various competitions and events.

Sydney gained numerous World Titles from UCWDC and World Dance Masters. She then went on to dance professionally in various shows and productions.

Professional Credits include:
Dancer Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Dancer Potters Theatre Company.
Professional Dancer – Theatre Royal Windsor. Bill Kenwright LTD, for three Pantomime Seasons.
Dancer in National Tour of Beauty & The Beast.
Performed in Cinderella at the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco.
Dancer Disney Land Paris.
Choreographer for Vicky Barkess Ltd, Move It.

Sydney now works in TV working in the wardrobe department assisting with costume design for TV shows such as The Voice Uk, Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing on Ice and Wedding Day Winners.

She now is a wife and mummy of two beautiful girls and spends lots of her time raising her babies 😍

✨MR LEWIS JENKINS✨

Lewis started dancing at the age of 5!

At the University of Exeter, Lewis taught commercial street dance classes and choreographed for the University’s competition dance squad. One of Lewis’s biggest dance achievements was performing with CountryVive on the live semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2014. Currently pursuing a career in Accountancy in London, Lewis spends his free time teaching dance lessons and choreographing.

Lewis holds many European & World Championship titles and trains people from all over the country! He specialises in many styles including street dance, commercial, lyrical & Latin & Ballroom! 🎉

✨DAINA CANNON✨

Daina Cannon is from Canvey Island in Essex. Daina took up dancing at the age of 8 when she started taking classes at a local street dance group. At the age of 11 Daina took up her first line dance class covering a variety of different dance styles including Latin & Ballroom. Daina holds many European & World Champion titles!

Daina continued with her passion for line dancing including appearances on television in a show called Loose Lips hosted by Melinda Messenger and Richard Arnold. As Daina progressed, she started winning many titles including UK, European and World Champion in the world of competitive line dancing where she competed in the highest category, Allstars.

At the age of 14, Daina decided to pursue her love for street dancing and joined a popular dance school called Karizma. Daina made it to the first team and took part in many competitions including the G-Force National UK Street Dancing Championships now known as Street Dance XXL against other dances groups such as Flawless and Diversity. In 2007 Daina won the world title at the UDO Street dance World Championships.

Daina appeared on Britain’s Got Talent 2014 as part of line dancing troupe CountyVive where they received a standing ovation from all 4 judges! 😃
Although Daina has a full time job in the financial industry, she always finds the time for her true passion and continues doing the things she loves most, performing and teaching!💃

WOW - What a line up! These beautiful 3 sure know their stuff! They have many dance styles behind them and are always continuing to grow as professionals in the industry. They are very honoured to be back with us for another year and can’t wait to see what everyone brings to the dance floor! ❤️
