Phase one finished in this Hove garden, withthr installation of a beautiful Millboard deck with a big integrated planter and lovely generous steps, tying in with new brick steps and little brick paver . The garden, which was previously cut off from the house by misplaced planting, now feels delightfully accessible. Scroll to see before!

Delayed due to a mid-job pre-tibial laceration for me, it felt good to go and finish phase one today. Just turf to go down now!

Despite recent radio silence we have been busy at Bees & Beans recently. Finally got some pics of this Hanover garden we finished a few weeks ago. We.used new composite decking to maximise the space at the top of this tiny garden, adding safe steps, a little custom gate to keep the kids safe, more large, tropical feeling plants, a shade to protect everyone from the sun and a little storage nook
A jigsaw puzzle of a project which has come together really nicely.

A lovely sunny day to pop the last few plants in at this planting project in Patcham. Leaving the structure of the garden largely in place we completely redesigned the borders introducing evergreen structure, lots of seasonal interest in by using plants that have spring blossom and autumn colour, and hundreds of herbaceous perennials for masses of colour and texture from spring to late autumn.

Finished in this little garden on the Roundhill. Two curved seating areas to catch the morning and evening sun, linked with stepping stones through planting. Plus a shiny new bike shed. New screening all around the garden gives it more privacy and a clean finish. Lots of perennial plants ready to take off over the next few months.

Lot of action at Bee Towers last week...nine months after moving in I've finally filled in the giant hole in one corner of my new garden, making a lovely bo lawn for rolling around on this summer. Put in a little willow dome with my son, who was also very happy that so many cranes came to visit last week! Just need to get some plants in now (and do the million other things I'm planning)
