Products can be matched to a themed bedroom and everything can be personalised to give it that really individual and unique touch. Another day, another workshop .... this time a drawing masterclass for a mum and her daughters. The talent was already there, but they loved to mix up of techniques, drawing materials and surfaces. So much more exciting than the usual pencil on white paper! Fancy a go, let me know ✍️🎨
Workshop fever! The first of two I have run since the weekend. This first group of lovely ladies got together for some quality shared time..... and produced these beautiful meadow inspired scenes. They said I brought lots of 'humour and energy' to the event.... such fun 🤩

Oil pastels are a great medium to use for relatively quick, expressive drawings as depicted here by over if my younger clients. Colourful, joyful and a fun way to work. Isn't she clever
It often feels hard to get back to work in January, so some mindful drawing was in order this morning at the start of a new term in the studio. With all of us feeling a bit rusty we focused on some good old fashioned drawing..... with a twist. Pencils were banned, so we used fine liners, inks with dipping pens and ultra thin brushes, creating these simple but beautiful monochrome studies. Love them ❤️

Gorrilaz inspired artwork created by one of my a teens.... she worked so hard on this, almost a whole term, from initial drawings to painting and added final line detail. It was uphill at times but she never gave up.... Just proves what determination and hard work can achieve. You know who you are.... Well done! 👏
Your original monoprint doesn't work? Then add some detail! Monoprinting is such a 'hit and miss' process, but I always advise my clients to keep everything and never through anything away.... at least not until they've added since detailed drawing, thus creating layers of combined colour and line. Disappointment morphed into success 🙌
Beautiful monoprints created by one of my tutees.... it's hair you say we've been having a lot of fun things ourselves into the process, and not worrying too much about the outcomes. Magical moments with lots of experimenting with layers and colours; you never quite know what's going to reveal itself when you lift to the paper.... but I think these are rather good 😊
