Thanks to everyone who came along to our BookFest event today! We hope you all enjoy your new reads selected from our river of books!
The book cover competition winner and runners up will be announced tomorrow - we absolutely loved looking through all the beautiful submissions. What a talented bunch of creatives Carden children are!

A soggy Sunday! Our books are all protected in weatherproof bags, so put on your raincoats and get hunting! 👀

Carden Christmas Fete 2025 - that’s a wrap 🎁!
A huge thank you to our headline sponsors IPHS Ltd for their support in helping us to pull off what was a pretty epic day! And huge thanks also to The New Oak who sponsored our amazing prize stall (my son has been playing with his gyroball non stop!!) and Burger Off for kindly providing all our wrapping paper.
It really was such a joyful event and amazing to see the magic we create when the community comes together - from all the amazing volunteers (including some pretty special teachers!) to the local people and businesses, to anyone who came and spent 50p (or a token!) and even the big man himself 🎅!

We’re totting up the totals but hoping we made some money which will of course go back to support the school for the benefit of our children.

Thank you so much to IPHS Ltd who are sponsoring tomorrow’s Christmas fair, and The New Oak, County oak Avenue, Brighton (www.thenewoak.co.uk) who are sponsoring our prize stall. We are very lucky to have the support of these two great very local businesses. 🤩

We are really looking forward to welcoming you to our fair tomorrow - we'll have stalls, games, mulled wine, refreshments and cake, tombola, books, hamper raffle and candyfloss - to name a few of the fabulous things we have planned! Main fair starts from 2pm, with a 1.30 entry available to those with SEN or who would benefit from a quiet atmosphere.

We are set up and ready to welcome you from 5pm! Come and join us for music, food, bar, tuck shop, candy floss and glow items. Fireworks are being set off at 6.40.

Come along and see our wonderful school at our open sessions for prospective parents. There's a tour tonight at 6pm and one next Thursday. If you can't make it at these times, please just call the office who will schedule you in for a visit.
