Wrawby Pre-School
Maternity Cover & Bank Staff Required Closing date 2nd April 2026

Wrawby Pre-School are looking to expand our team and recruit a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Pre-School Assistant to join us on a maternity cover basis. We are also looking to add to our bank staff team to provide cover as required.
Role
To work as part of a team under the direction of the Pre-School Manager, providing a safe, nurturing and high-quality learning environment for young children.

The successful candidate will support children’s learning and development through play, helping to create a positive and engaging setting for all.
Qualifications & Experience
The right candidate will:
• Have experience of working with young children, or
• Be working towards a relevant Early Years qualification
Full training will be provided. A passion for supporting young children’s development is essential.
Hours
Our setting is open Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:30pm Staff working hours 8:30am - 4:00pm (term time only).

• Maternity cover: Hours to be discussed at interview.
• Bank staff: Hours as required, depending on the needs of the setting.
• Start Date: May 2026 (if DBS and references are returned) or September 2026.

Salary
National Minimum Wage in line with age and experience.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and 2000. Any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Older residents across North Lincolnshire are being offered free, hands-on digital skills sessions to help them stay connected, independent and confident in an increasingly online world.

Tech Together - delivered by Age UK Lincolnshire in partnership with North Lincolnshire Council - brings weekly, practical sessions directly into Community Hubs across the area.

Booking is required for the sessions, which are available now and run through until the end of March. Sessions are available weekly at community hubs across North Lincolnshire:

Baysgarth Community Hub, Fridays 10am to 12pm – Baysgarth Park, Brigg Road, Barton upon Humber

Dads Together at Brigg Town Football Club

This group is for Dads, Step-Dads, Grandads, Uncles, and all male carers to come along with their children (aged 0–16 years) and enjoy some relaxed time together.
