We had a super busy week last week, working with two brilliant organisations.
One group invited us to their event with our animals, and the other came to spend the day with us here on the farm.
We met lots of wonderful children who loved getting hands‑on with the animals — and the goats were definitely one of the favourites ❤️
We’re so proud to be part of these sessions !

What a truly lovely day we had on Wednesday to finish our fantastic summer of adventures. The ponies soaked up every bit of fuss and grooming, and the goats are getting cheekier by the minute and kept everyone laughing.

We headed out for some blackberry picking and then used our berries to tie‑dye our very own bandannas — they turned out beautifully. The children also made string‑art creations too.

And because it was our last Holiday Club of the summer, we had a few treats: biscuits and ice poles in the sunshine, celebrating all the fun, friendships and memories we’ve made together.

We had such a brilliant Holiday Club yesterday. Alongside all our usual animal handling and gardening , the children have become so confident — they now know all the jobs that need doing and they tackle them with amazing teamwork and care.

We also made some fabulous mosaic pictures using lasagne sheets. They looked incredible and every single one was different, from animals to carrots to hot‑air balloons. The creativity was fantastic.

And the biggest workout of the day… making our own butter to take home. Lots of shaking, lots of determination, and nobody gave up. Such a fun mix of animals, art and hands‑on learning.

What a wonderful time we had at our Grown‑Ups Morning. It was just so lovely — everyone got involved, relaxed, and really embraced the animals and the calm of the farm. We think this might be the start of something regular…The perfect chance to enjoy some You Time and truly reset !

Our Mini Farmers had a brilliant afternoon on Thursday!
They were busy doing all our favourite farm jobs — caring for the animals, collecting eggs, and getting creative making their own hapazome flags full of natural colour to take home.
We even had time to finish with a nice cold ice pole on a hot day, which went down a treat !☀️

We had another brilliant but hot holiday club on Wednesday ☀️ This week we experimented with cynotype art and created some lovely homemade lavender bags using our sewing skills aswell as all our usual animal fun and harvesting our vegetables together!

With a busy and hot day yesterday at holiday club we are ready to do it all again with our adults this morning and our mini farmers this afternoon! Still a few last minute spaces available!

We still have a handful of spaces left for our Grown‑Ups Morning on Thursday 13th August 10:00–12:30
£15.00 per person.

Come along and spend time with the animals — cuddle the goats, groom the ponies, feed the sheep, and spend time with our small furry friends and more.
We’ll also make a simple craft together to finish the session.
A perfect relaxed morning just for adults - message us to book your space!

We had a brilliant second week of Holiday Club on the farm. The children enjoyed lots of hands‑on time with the rabbits, guinea pigs and other animals, and our young goats had plenty of practice learning to walk on a lead — they’re so fast, I’m glad the kids could keep up with them !

We also spent time outside creating beautiful Hapa‑zome nature art, using leaves and flowers from around the farm. And everyone made their own marshmallow pigs to take home and enjoy.
We’re loving every minute of these summer sessions.

We feel so lucky and incredibly grateful to Sam and Morrisons for supporting our holiday clubs this summer. Their help has allowed us to buy some really useful bits and ingredients for our healthy snack activities – including our fruit kebabs, which the children absolutely loved last week ! Community support like this makes such a difference.❤️
