Yes, a percentage of cadets do eventually join the armed force's, and being in an organisation such as this, does help if you wish to join up, but we are a disciplined youth organisation with qualified Voluntary Adult Instructors who give up there time to help encourage and promote good citizenship, Leadership and confidence in the young community. We can except from the age of between 12 years (School Year 8) as the minimum and 16.5 years as the maximum, although cadets can stay until 18 or 20 depending on Corps status. We meet twice a week at our Cadet Training Centre, Frian Avenue, between 19:15 and 21:30.
