TEACHER TRAINING DAY!

Yesterday, some of our brilliant new team members headed to Dance Attic in Fulham for their Jigsaw Teacher Training Day!

A full day of learning, creating and getting ready to bring the Jigsaw magic into our classrooms this term.
From exploring our teaching approach to developing ideas across drama, singing and dance, our new teachers are officially ready to get started!

We’re so excited to welcome lots of new faces to our teaching teams across our Jigsaw schools and cannot wait for our students to meet them!

Take to the stage! 🎭✨

We still can’t get over just how magical our Summer Camp was! Our incredible children worked so hard throughout the week and finished it all off with an absolutely fabulous Charlie and the Chocolate Factory inspired show for their friends and family. Lights, costumes, singing, dancing, acting and, of course, a little bit of Jigsaw magic… what a week! 🍫🍭

And the show fun isn’t over yet…

This Autumn is our SHOW TERM at Jigsaw! 🌟 Our students will be rehearsing, creating characters, learning routines and working together to put on even more fantastic shows at the end of term.

If your child loves performing, wants to build their confidence or simply wants somewhere they can have fun, make friends and be themselves, this is the perfect term to join us.

Keeping children busy and engaged over the summer doesn’t have to mean planning every minute of the day. ☀️🎭

In fact, some of the best moments can come from the simplest things…

🏰 A cardboard box becomes a castle

🎶Music turns into a family dance-off

Plus, sometimes, a little boredom can become the starting point for a brilliant new idea!

Here are a few simple ways to keep creativity flowing this summer:

🎭 Encourage imaginative play & let children create their own worlds and stories.

🎤 Put on a family performance, no perfect routines required! Let them choose the music, create the costumes and take centre stage.

📚Bring stories to life and ask “What happens next?” or act out a favourite scene together.

💃 Get moving to music! Dancing is a brilliant way to encourage self-expression, rhythm and confidence.

And we couldn’t be more excited!

But it’s not just about the final performance… it’s about watching our children grow, flourish and discover what they’re capable of along the way.

From those first rehearsals to stepping into the spotlight, we can’t wait to see the confidence, friendships and skills that develop throughout the term.

The show is the end goal. The journey is where the magic happens. 🎭

What a way to end the term! 🌟🎭

We finished the year with a bang at Jigsaw Brentwood’s Got Talent, and what an unforgettable morning it was!

From hilarious comedy acts and incredible sibling duets to spectacular gymnastics, fantastic singing, brilliant dance routines and plenty of Golden Buzzer moments, our students amazed us from start to finish. 🌟✨

We are so proud of every single child who stepped up to perform. It takes real courage to share your talents in front of an audience, and each performer brought something unique, creative and exciting to the stage.

The laughter, encouragement and applause from everyone in the room perfectly captured what Jigsaw is all about, celebrating every child’s individuality and giving them the confidence to shine. 💙

A huge well done to all of our incredible performers. We can’t wait to see what you’ll bring next term! 🧩✨

The friendships built in our classes become such a big part of our student’s Jigsaw journey. From cheering each other on to growing in confidence together. We believe every student deserves a space where they feel seen, supported, and inspired.
