Kew Green Nursery

This week we held our Nursery Graduation ceremony. We saw our Squirrels get ready for big school and our Hedgehogs prepare for their next year of Nursery. We are so proud of all our children and are excited to see how they continue to grow in confidence, creativity and curiosity. We also held a picnic for our children and their parents on Kew Green. Thank you to all our parents who came, we hope you had a lovely afternoon with us 🎓🧺☀️

We are delighted to invite you to attend our open morning which starts at 10am with a presentation by the Head of Nursery, Chantal Baard. This is followed by a tour of the nursery where you will have the opportunity to meet staff members and ask any questions you may have.

Today we read books to learn about the different animals on a farm, coloured in some of these farm animals and other things you might find and even gave some muddy animals a bath 🐮🐷🐶🐰

Our theme this half term is The Farm 🐷🐰🐴🐮🐰

We will be looking at life on a farm, how to look after farm animals, what food we get from farm animals, baby names and much more.

We have also opened a farm stall and garden centre and enjoyed doing farm themed puzzles.

We celebrated Chinese/Lunar New Year last week. We transformed our home corner into a Chinese restaurant, we made Chinese shakers and we welcomed one of our families to the nursery to discuss how they celebrate Lunar New Year as a family!
